Nearly 900 treasures (manuscripts, coins, maps and plans, prints, costumes...) from the collections of the kings of France in a remarkable museum in the heart of Paris, a reading room housed in the splendid oval gallery, a research library and a garden: such is the Richelieu site of what is commonly known as the BNF. A must-see is the Mazarin gallery, built by François Mansart and featuring ceilings painted by Romanelli.

Vous y trouverez la bibliothèque et des expositions. Vous ne pouvez pas faire un tour complet de la bibliothèque, seulement y entrer et la regarder depuis une « barrière », sinon les expositions sont très sympas, avec beaucoup d’explications. Les expos peuvent être faites avec des enfants.

Oltre i soliti siti turistici, La Bibliothèque nationale de France, la BnF Richelieu, una delle più importanti al mondo, va assolutamente visitata. Ha due sale, la Sala Ovale (Salle Ovale) ad accesso libero e la Sala Labrouste (Salle Labrouste) riservata ai soli accreditati. Il silenzio predomina su tutto e viverlo anche per pochi minuti è emozionante. Migliaia di libri e materiale multimediale sono a disposizione di tutti.
