Nearly 900 treasures (manuscripts, coins, maps and plans, prints, costumes...) from the collections of the kings of France in a remarkable museum in the heart of Paris, a reading room housed in the splendid oval gallery, a research library and a garden: such is the Richelieu site of what is commonly known as the BNF. A must-see is the Mazarin gallery, built by François Mansart and featuring ceilings painted by Romanelli.

パリの喧騒を離れてゆっくりできる場所です。無料ですしパリ中心地ですし、観光に疲れたらゆっくりする場所にも最適です。無料なんで何度も出たり入ったりできますし。
Salle Ovalは実際に座って本を読むことができます。マンガもあり、ゲゲゲの鬼太郎やあしたのジョーなど、他にもたくさんあります（フランス語版です）。私はスラムダンクを読みました。
ここ、パリの国立図書館リシュリュー館は、フランスの王室のために建設された建物で、17世紀にルイ13世の時代に設立されたそうです。
歴史的で美しい建築物で、美しいバロック様式の建築、ドーム型の天井と本たちのマッチングが圧倒的な美しさを誇っています。
図書館内にもカフェがあるので、そこで休んでもいいかも。
館内のトイレは無料でキレイです。
ここは静かな学びの空間という感じで、観光に来ていた私にとって、落ち着く場所にふっと入っていった感じがありました。
フランスの学生さんたちが、一生懸命勉強してました。

Aucune consigne de silence n’est donnée pour ceux qui visitent ou s’installent dans la salle ovale, ce qui manque de logique puisqu’il s’agit d’une bibliothèque.
Pour ajouter à la cacophonie, certaines employées de la Bnf trouvent judicieux de porter des chaussures à talons vraiment bruyantes, causant ainsi un ramdam pas possible à chacun de leurs déplacements.
Côté positif, la salle ovale est très belle et la température y est idéale en générale (même par forte chaleur), et les espaces extérieur sont très agréables.
