The Opéra Comique is one of France's oldest theatrical and musical institutions. In 2005, the Opéra became one of 6 national theaters, and in 2014, the musical genre officially celebrated its 300th anniversary. The first site, named Opéra Comique, was opened in 1783. The current building is the third Salle Favart, inaugurated in 1898. Bizet's Carmen premiered at the Opéra Comique in 1875. Since the end of 2021, conductor Louis Langrée has been at the helm of the Opéra Comique, with a program combining classics and new works.

En appelant l’opéra comique pour un renseignement , l’homme qui a répondu a été infecte et désagréable. Je n’ai jamais vu cela! Une honte. Je trouve qu’il est important de le signaler pour que les futurs clients ne soient pas surpris d’être reçu au téléphone avec si peu de considération.

Nous y avons vu Fantasio. C'était d'une qualité rare. Le lieu d'abord est de tte beauté ; l'opéra ensuite était à la fois très esthétique en termes de mise en scène, de costumes... Les chanteurs étaient merveilleux - quelle interprétation!, l'orchestre aussi. Et cet opéra était un genre nouveau pour moi, drôle, profond aussi...
Bref, à faire absolument !
