This is Paris's most sports-oriented pool, used for training and competitions. Inaugurated for the 1924 Olympic Games, the 50 m x 21 m pool can be divided into two 25 m pools. The pool has undergone extensive renovations in recent months, and includes a solarium and catering facilities. The Georges Vallerey pool hosts swimming and water polo matches, which can be enjoyed from the 1,500-seat bleachers. Another special feature is the pool's synchronized swimming pit.
