In the midst of the tagged walls, Yohanna Uzan's Barabouquin is both a poetry café, a restaurant, and a very atypical bookshop. A vintage decay, colourful walls, books like these are here, and in the middle of this is a very heterogeneous world that can be found for a drink while reading both the Da Vinci Code and the Pre-Columbian Pre-Columbian Art Trails. The small dishes of the day are delicious.

Came here in June when I was staying in Belleville and couldn’t have enjoyed it more. It’s small, charming, and has excellent food and drinks! The piano is a fun touch as well. Check it out if you’re in the area!

Je précise que, avec une autre personne, nous avons été des clients exemplaires : calmes, polis, nous avons consommé deux thés et un gâteau, et par courtoisie désintéressée, nous avons même aidé à amener les choses et en suite débarrasser la table avant cet incident désagréable.
Je termine en ajoutant que je sais que ce commentaire négatif singulier n'impactera probablement pas la moyenne des avis (c’est pas mon but non plus) mais je tiens juste à signaler qu'il s'agissait d'un comportement extrêmement impoli.
Je souhaite mettre en garde contre la (probablement désormais complètement fausse) gentillesse excessive et artificielle que la propriétaire affiche au début avec tous ses clients.
Dès qu'il s'agit d'une situation où un minimum d'empathie est nécessaire, elle a répondu par de la malveillance et une froideur plus que déconcertante (et malheureusement alimentant parfaitement la mauvaise réputation des Parisiens).
