An acronym ACFJT that also includes Tenri Language School and Cultural space Bertin Poirée. This cultural centre was founded in 1971 and promotes cultural exchanges between French and Japanese. It goes without saying that the language courses proposed by the association are the cornerstone of this mission (it is the oldest language school created in a private association), but the ACFJT does not stop there and proposes an impressive number of cultural and artistic activities: course courses, cookery courses, dance courses, dance courses, but also tea ceremonies, intensive stages courses,… The Cultural Space Bertin Poirée is dedicated to the exhibition of young artists of all nationalities in the fields of painting, photography, sculpture… As for Galerie Trend, she works to highlight objects of Japanese crafts (ceramics, lacquers, jewellery…). The ACFJT also has an important library and video library and on-site consultation, gathering about 16 000 books (library guarantee deposit 25 €, video library 50 €).
