CAFÉ MARLY
In the 1st arrondissement of Paris, housed under the arcades of the Louvre, Café Marly is an iconic address, bearing the imprint of Gilbert and Thierry Costes. The father and son, whose roots are firmly planted in northern Aveyron – they are originally from Saint-Amans-des-Côts – have indeed declined their art of living within the walls of this brasserie. Architecture, design and gastronomy thus make the superb of this establishment in which people come as much to see – the pyramid of the Louvre just in front – as to be seen. A haven for models, journalists and other literary minds, Café Marly offers a meticulous cuisine, served in the Napoleon III-style dining room or on the terrace, nicely lit by the sun filtered by the columns. You can enjoy the place from the early morning for the first coffee of the day until late in the evening thanks to a menu of subtle cocktails.
