If you think the name - The Robe and the Palace - refers to lawyers, you are sadly mistaken. In this case, it refers to wine. You can't get enough of this bistro (or dining cellar) known for the quality of its cuisine and the richness of its cellar - over 800 references, it seems. So there is bound to be one that suits the dishes you choose. The dishes are well thought out and not lacking in originality: one June, for example, the onion purée accompanying a calf sweetbread apple was with verbena, and cucumber tagliatelle with roasted almonds accompanied a whiting.
