If you think the name - The Robe and the Palace - refers to lawyers, you are sadly mistaken. In this case, it refers to wine. You can't get enough of this bistro (or dining cellar) known for the quality of its cuisine and the richness of its cellar - over 800 references, it seems. So there is bound to be one that suits the dishes you choose. The dishes are well thought out and not lacking in originality: one June, for example, the onion purée accompanying a calf sweetbread apple was with verbena, and cucumber tagliatelle with roasted almonds accompanied a whiting. One of the best meals we had in Paris. Ingredients were perfectly cooked and seasoned. We had the set lunch which was really reasonably priced and really hearty portions.

Lieu sympa, comme le patron. De bons petits vins à découvrir en se laissant guider par le staff. Après côté cuisine, personnellement je n'ai pas été convaincu. Quant à l'addition, trop élevée a mon gout par rapport aux prestations. Bref sympa mais sans plus.

Un très bon bar à vin où on peut faire une confiance aveugle aux suggestions du sommelier, tout en dînant de très bons plats. Après 3 ou 4 passages, je confirme la constance de la qualité de la cuisine et la simplicité accueillante du service.

Un endroit convivial et sans chichi, la classe est dans l'assiette et dans le verre !
Mentions spéciales pour la terrine de sanglier et l'échine de porc du roc. Un régal.
Et de très belles découvertes en vin.
