Wine bar in Paris offering well-crafted dishes, a menu of grilled octopus a la plancha, pork and skate.
Although the place's emblematic creator, Tim Johnston, has retired, this wine bar remains in family hands: Margaux, his youngest daughter, is in charge of the dining room, and her son-in-law, Romain, is in the kitchen. The room allows a limited number of covers, in a friendly atmosphere. From his small kitchen, Romain sends out well-crafted dishes, with rather generous portions. At the time of our visit, the menu included grilled octopus a la plancha, heirloom tomato tart, pressed shoulder of pork confit and skate wing. All good stuff!

We loved our dinner at Juveniles! It is a very small restaurant, with fabulous food and attentive friendly service. The lamb and chicken were cooked perfectly and the spring asparagus was lovely. As a wine bar they also offer many terrific wines by the glass and have a nice, affordable wine list. On this trip, we also ate dinner at the acclaimed Bistro Paul Bert and while that was good, Juveniles was better!

Best lamb I’ve ever had. The sauce and crispy skin were divine. Such a cute little spot. Would definitely return and recommend.

What a fantastic place . It was my first day in Paris and I lucked out walking in just as they opened . Simple menu great service, I ordered the braised shoulder of beef . Would come back anytime . Don’t sleep on the rice pudding desert … was delicious !
