Address with terrace in Paris offering a menu of burgers, tartars, tartines and Auvergne platters
One of the institutions of Les Halles, Père Tranquille has existed since the 19th century, as evidenced by an engraving inside. Here, service is provided in traditional waiter's uniforms, with a large terrace. An upstairs dining room and a classic Parisian brasserie style are just some of the places you can settle in, facing the Forum des Halles. The à la carte menu is classic: burgers, tartare, salads, tartines and croques, and Auvergne platters are all on offer. Very busy at weekends, especially on the terrace!

The waiter was exceptionally friendly, which made my family feel comfortable throughout the meal. Although I didn't catch the name because there was no name tag, thanks to the waiter, even the food tasted delicious.

Het eten was niet te vreten en het personeel erg traag. De prijs was echt abnormaal hoog voor de kwaliteit die je krijgt. Er loopt ook een kat rond die op je schoot gaat zitten tijdens het eten, heel smerig. Ga hier niet heen.

Payer 6,10€ son coca sans bulle servi au verre (sans la bouteille en verre, donc a la bouteille en plastique au comptoir) c’est inadmissible. Je ne reviendrai plus jamais. De plus le service n’est pas très aimable, j’ai attendu une bonne quinzaine de minutes avant qu’on ne vienne me voir pour la commande, malgré une terrasse relativement vide (j’y suis allée en semaine) et malgré que le serveur m’ait bien vu (il est passé au moins 3 fois à côté de moi). Je ne note pas la cuisine car je n’y ai pas mangé.
