Great place, good music, they don't charge entrance fee but they expect you to order something, it is affordable. I suggest going half and hour early to the set because it is crowded.
First of all, it was freezing cold inside, as there was no heating. I couldn't take off my coat and relax and enjoy. Zero heating in the club in January, when outside is freezing cold.
As I went there alone, they told me that I should sit either on the 2nd floor (where you see nothing) or somewhere at the far corner of the room, despite the fact that there were free tables in the middle. The justification was that I was alone , and the tables were for two.
Finally, I could take a normal table, as I had 2 tickets, but this approach that if you're alone , you should sit somewhere secondary not to occupy a table, it's a shame. They could at least say, "You take the table, but we can bring other guests to that table."
Overall, the global look and experience was far of what one can expect from a renowned jazz club
Et bien pas du tout en fait...c est au bon vouloir des gens présents dans le club...
Une dizaine de personnes seulement sont sorties....et donc nous ne sommes pas rentrés...apres 1h30 d attente dans le froid sans que PERSONNE du club soit venu nous expliquer ce fonctionnement aberrant...
A FUIR de toute urgence...il y a plein d autres boites de jazz tout aussi bien sur la rive gauche de Paris....
Nous étions toute une table, on venait de commander et payer… nos consos pleines, une fille a notre table sort la fin de son capri sun avant de boire son verre… le physio débarque, nous insulte dans le bar alors que nous étions à côté du pianiste qui a du être dérangé…
Il voulait tous nous virer pour 3cl de boisson extérieure d’une seule personne. Alors certes ce n’est pas à faire mais notre amie s’est excusée et est allé le jeter.
Quand nous sommes partis le physio nous a à nouveau insulté dehors.
Inadmissible et quel spectacle pour les passants….
Un des serveurs a lancer un verre d’alcool rempli sur mon ami qui l’avais « laissé sans surveillance »
