Caviar takes pride of place at this restaurant named after the Caspian Sea coastal town known as one of the cradles of caviar production. Astara's menu is described as "iodised" - seafood makes up the bulk of the menu - and dishes can be paired with the famous eggs, creating unique flavours. It's refined, it's tasty, the prices are attractive compared to the quality served, and we've finally found the recipe to make caviar accessible. Service is impeccable.
