For many years, this bar was known as Abracadabar, and its black storefront was like a landmark for many night owls. For the last years the place was a bit boring, and in recent months, La Foisonnante has taken over. And it should be noted that the place is well named: it has regained some of its beauty, or rather its animation of yesteryear. As here, you come to have a drink and also to listen to music, thanks to a dense and varied program. From Irish music to rock or a more pop selection; it is an eclectic and nice atmosphere right from the happy hour when we come (in moderation!) at 5.30 p.m. Easy to access, the place is only 3 minutes from the canal.

Je me suis fait agressé par un de leurs clients bourré. Je me suis fait craché dessus et menacé. Prévenant la police il s'est enfui. En allant dans le bar pour demander le nom de mon agresseur à un de ses collègues venu après mettre fair cracher dessus . Je me suis fait agressé par le serveur anglais. Il m'a pris par le cou et le bras pour me mettre hors du bar. En faisant ça , il m'a déchiré mon tee shirt. Ensuite alors que je lui disais qu'il m'avait agressé et que j'allais appelé la police il m'a choppé par la glotte très fort pour me virer comme un malpropre de la terrasse. En faisant ça , il m'a déchiré mon tee shirt. Je refusais de partir sans avoir le nom de mon agresseur. La patronne me demandant de quitter des lieux vue que celui qui était intervenu auparavant refusait de me donner le nom de mon agresseur et devenait agressif . Je lui ai dis que son client bourré m'avait craché dessus et qu'elle avait une responsabilité. Voilà la belle mentalité de 2025. A éviter. Le serveur est violent sans même réfléchir et la femme sans doute la patronne au bar manque profondément d'empathie. Elle peut servir à boire un client jusqu'à ce qu'il soit bourré et pour autant ne pas assumer les actes de ses clients à cause de leur état d'ivresse. Une expérience violente et humiliante. Donc éviter ce bar.

I was assaulted by one of their drunk customers. I was spat on and threatened. When I called the police, he fled. I went into the bar to ask for my aggressor’s name from one of his colleagues (who had earlier watched me get spat on). **I was then assaulted by the English bartender.** He grabbed me by the neck and arm to throw me out of the bar. While doing this, he ripped my t-shirt. I refused to leave without the name of my aggressor. The female owner (likely the manager) asked me to leave the premises since the person who had intervened earlier refused to give me my aggressor’s name and was becoming aggressive. I told her that her drunk customer had spat on me and that she bore responsibility. **Nice mentality for 2025.** Avoid this place. The bartender is violent without even thinking, and the woman (probably the owner at the bar) severely lacks empathy. She can serve a customer drinks until they’re drunk, yet take no responsibility for her customers’ actions due to their intoxication. A violent and humiliating experience. **So avoid this bar
