Between the vineyards of Montmartre and the Funambules theater, the Atelier Emaux Mirande is a place dedicated to the art of copper enameling. Customized courses are also offered to learn modern copper enameling techniques, such as the use of natural ashes, glass paste, engraving and gold leaf. Lucie Faucon is a ceramist based in Paris. A member of Ateliers d'Art de France, she creates tableware and everyday objects, mainly in stoneware. Each piece is made by hand, using ancestral modeling techniques. The glazes she uses are the fruit of her personal research. Her aim is to create functional, contemporary and uncluttered tableware for every meal.
