Created in 1984, the founding ASP is an association for the support and development of palliative care. Volunteers are selected, trained and supported as a team. In Paris and the Ile de France region, the 40 teams and 2,50 volunteers work at home, in EHPAD and in institutions, under the seal of confidentiality, they provide a listening ear and a presence to people suffering from serious and progressive illnesses as well as to their relatives. This association is also a source of information on palliative care. Each year, the founding ASP organizes training sessions and theme days (see the online catalogue). Due to the increase in requests for support, the association is always looking for volunteers.
