The Louis Vuitton Foundation, created on the initiative of Bernard Arnaud, CEO of LVMH, was designed by the architect Frank Gehry. This great glass vessel with its curved lines has found its place among the strong architectural gestures of Paris. In the middle of this green setting, this artistic temple rises elegantly. The collections and temporary exhibitions highlight all forms of contemporary art. The foundation houses eleven exhibition rooms, a concert hall, a restaurant, a bookstore, and three terraces with unique views of Paris.

Atemberaubend! Wir waren dort in der Ausstellung Mark Rothko. Die Ausstellung war toll kuratiert. Dazu das passende Ambiente!

Closed exhibits so only really the building to see. Frank Gehry in Paris. Must say the architecture was arbitrary typical Gehry, but the scaled glass details and constructionality were admirable including the 3d printing of the curvature roofs. Would have been so good to have some open exhibits so the website could have been more explicit. Still for 4euros a must visit and also accessible Is the wonderful park surrounds.

We went between expositions as that is when we were in Paris (also we had seen online that was the case before going). So, the focus was more on the architecture (there is an app to follow or they will give you a device with a headset, but you need an official photo id). Seeing how it was built, the materials used, the fact that the 3600 glass panels are all unique, etc was amazing.

The place is a marvel of both engineering and architecture well worth a visit despite not having a current exposition (note that tickets are also a lot cheaper at 4euro).

One thing that was different from the last time I was there 8 years ago is the absence of color on the glass, which was quite magical (it seems more drab, particularly on a cloudy day). You can see pictures below. Would be nice, imo, if they went back to the color.

But, as said, it's still a great place to visit in Paris.
