Museum organizing temporary exhibitions and events on themes related to the writer Honoré de Balzac.
From 1840 to 1847, the famous novelist Honoré de Balzac lived in this house located on the heights of the village of Passy under the name of Monsieur de Breugnol, a pseudonym intended to fool his creditors. It is in this place that he brought the final touch to his masterly "Comédie humaine". Personal effects, paintings and engravings, and several originals of some of his most famous manuscripts are on display. The museum also organizes temporary exhibitions and events on themes related to the writer.

Petit, intime, émouvant le bureau qui dispose encore du siège où Balzac se posait pour écrire , joli jardin et café pour faire une halte dans le 16ème

고즈넉한 정원에서, 차한잔을 해도 좋고~ 맥주를 한잔한다던지? ㅎ 하며 여유로운 한때를 만끽해보는건 어떠신지?? 더불어 발자크의 서재를 구경해보시는것도 추천드립니다. 한번쯤 볼만해요~ 특히 그의 소설을 읽어보신 분이라면 격추~~

La maison rêvée ( et donc inaccessible) pour une parisienne de naissance comme moi. Avec son jardin et sa vue sur la tour Eiffel Magnifique!

La maison est très rapide à visiter, avec 4-5 pièces (il me semble qu'un étage était fermé quand j'y suis allée). Les descriptions et explications sont en français et en anglais.
Tableaux, statues, manuscrits, tout est bien mis en valeur et intéressant.
Il y a un petit café, avec des pâtisseries, je crois, mais je n'y suis pas allée.
