Le Dernier Métro is the right place for a southwest atmosphere and Les Prolongations is at two strides. This is a family affair with two passions that we cannot ignore, the Basque country and the rugby. At noon, in the aperitif or in the dinner, there is pleasant feeling of joy of life on the face as in the dishes. The a la carte menu delights the taste buds of the lively guests: 5A andouillette, gourmet tartine, omelette in tortilla's way, Southwest salad, the famous duck confit from Landes, charcuterie board (notch ham and wild sow) or Osso Iraty - the famous farm sheep cheese - accompanied by black cherries of Itassy... Meat eaters have a wide choice among the rib steak, the beef thick slab and the narrow steak, the confit, the duck aglet and the duck breast. Without forgetting the famous Basque cake which is sometimes challenged by the Catalan cream and the strawberry tiramisu, which is excellent. Every Friday, everyone play the extra-time with the homemade paella! For the accompaniment, a fine selection of wines, red in particular, available by the glass. Is it useful to mention that it is good to come here at the time of the biggest rugby game?

Dès notre arrivée, l'accueil semblait souriant, mais il ne faut pas se laisser tromper par cette façade trompeuse. Une fois installés, nous avons vite compris l’arnaque : aucun prix affiché, des additions gonflées sans explication, et surtout une tentative malhonnête de nous faire payer deux bières en plus que nous n’avions jamais commandées.
Le pire ? Les prix varient selon l'humeur du patron. Ce dernier a justifié un tarif plus élevé sous prétexte qu'il faisait "beau" et que c'était "jour de match". Une excuse honteuse pour nous faire payer une bière bien plus chère que d’habitude. Et si vous êtes étranger, attendez-vous à un supplément caché : les clients qui ne comprennent pas bien la langue se voient facturer des tarifs encore plus élevés.
En résumé, un bar hors de prix, un service exécrable et un gérant malhonnête qui n'hésite pas à arnaquer ses clients. Nous déconseillons fortement cet établissement. Allez dépenser votre argent ailleurs, là où on respecte les clients.
