The French Basketball Federation aims to organise and develop basketball in France since 1932. It represents some 525 689 licensees and 4 745 clubs in 32 Regional Leagues (including eight Overseas) and 95 Departmental Committees. It trains federal leaders, leaders, trainers and coaches and issues federal titles. Since 1988, the French Basketball Federation manages the practice of all its national championships except Pro A, Pro B and their Hope championships that are under the responsibility of the LNB (National Basketball League).

FC Gobelins Club hosts Four Men Teams: two senior teams, and two older teams (+ 35 and + of 45 years), and seeks to set up a structure for a female section. 

Trainings twice a week in the planning of the two senior teams at the Paris University Club. The club is mixed and remains one of the most important in Paris for nearly 50 years.

A men's team, bringing together athletes of all ages, the PSB evolves in 2011/2012 in a Parisian departmental honour, and finishes 5 ^th of the ranking of 10, with 8 victories and 8 defeats. Training at the gymnasium of the Chateau des Pensioners (M ° National, on line 6). Launched in 1991, Confidants brings together gays, lesbians and their friends around volleyball practice. Beginners, medium or confirmed, there are both girls and boys - a small majority. The association participates in national and international tournaments. Training takes place on weekdays in different gyms in the capital (see site for addresses) from 20 pm. These trainings are organized into groups of levels.
