MARCHÉ BEAUVAU – MARCHÉ D’ALIGRE
This is not a Baltard hall, but this market is worth of a visit by fans of architecture, with its frame which is a turned boat hull. The market extends well beyond the covered market, and has a wide range of merchants, florists, booksellers, merchants of home accessories and fabrics. It has a nice, popular and relaxed atmosphere. The prices are often interesting, but beware of the quality especially at Aligre market. Two stalls offer organic products with a Bio Cart option where fruits and vegetables are sold in bulk or kilograms. You will find the poulterer-tripe butcher Au Capon d'Aligre at the Jeanne-d'Arc market (13th) and Farm Aligre will makes you want to taste everything, because of the good smells of cooked meats that invades the atmosphere. Aligot is fabulous. Dubuisson the fishmonger sells only line caught fish or sea fish. You can also take a tasty snack break at the stand of Paul Vautrin who offers tasting plates, at Corossol, an Afro-Caribbean-Cajun or enjoy a plate of oysters accompanied by a glass of white wine. Among these institutions, you will find the Graineterie of Jose Ferre with its formica countertop.

Le marché couvert a aussi de très bons produits de très bonne qualité!
Très bonne ambiance, je recommande vivement pour une alimentation équilibrée à petit prix;-)
par contre les prix... aïe aïe aïe !
marché extérieur : très beau également, les stands sont aussi plus "authentiques" et les tarifs sont plus intéressants.
Le marché intérieur pour les CSP+ parisien: c'est beau mais c'est cher. J'y vais quand je veux une viande ou une charcuterie de qualité pour les grandes occasions, j'y achète mon fromage: très bon fromager.
