This park, located in Paris, is a former wine-growing site, home to a vegetable garden, orchard, and other growing areas.
This immense park, opened some three decades ago, replaced former industrial areas. It has been laid out in a variety of areas for cultivation (orchard, rose garden, vegetable garden...), relaxation (Grande Prairie, romantic garden...) and visits (Maison du Jardinage, jardin des senteurs...), all just a stone's throw from Cours Saint-Emilion, home to Bercy-Village, the temple of shopping. The park is also home to a winery and old 19th-century rails used to transport wine by tank car, a reminder of the site's original vocation.

Originality
Park very pleasant shaded with water (ducks, chickens, herons, carp...) and the gardens (gardens " the française" , gardens...). Prefer the second part of the park, near the metro Saint Emilion Courtyard, which is more intimate than the area near Bercy.
This park is very pleasant. However, you will have cold sweats however if you walk with young children: there is plenty of water point with ducks, chickens, cranes and vegetation reed, and all this is not protected. The children are attracted and risk the dip. The visit quickly becomes very difficult for parents who must constantly keep an eye on their children. Otherwise, it is still a little island in Paris enough exotic and relaxing but for largest.
