Vincennes is the Mecca of trotting, a world reference. This 42-hectare racecourse has two tracks that can accommodate up to 35,000 people. The "Grande Piste" is 2,000 meters long and has a remarkable slope and very soft ground. Inside, the "Petite Piste" of 1,325 m is reserved for night races. The racecourse hosts more than 150 trotting meetings each year, including the Prix de France, the Prix du Président de la République, the Grand National du Trot and the famous Prix de l'Amérique. Activities are planned for children.

The hippodrome looks nice enough, but it’s the terrible location that grinded my gears this time. For what french reason are they considering the area around it a “national park” IT’S LITERALLY 15 MINS TO EIFFEL BY BIKE!!!!
