As its name indicates, the Fédération Française de Parachutisme is dedicated to developing and promoting sports parachuting activities (parachuting, wind tunnel and paragliding). She also provides training for volunteer and professional instructors. In addition, it organizes competitions throughout French territory, constitutes the French teams and issues licences - over 54 000 in 2015 - and federal titles.
