Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an independent and international humanitarian medical association that has been providing medical assistance for more than 45 years to populations whose lives or health are at risk: mainly in the case of armed conflicts, but also epidemics, natural disasters or exclusion from care. It works in neutrality and impartiality in more than 34 countries. Together with the same charter, MSF teams are composed of medical, logistical and administrative staff of dozens of different nationalities, expatriates and local staff. They are conducting emergency and preventive medical activities: vaccination, surgery, nutrition, training of medical personnel, maternal and child health or mental health. MSF is empowered to receive legacies and donations.
