LA FAVELA CHIC
La Favela Chic, is a success story that began in 1995, Oberkampf street, when a group of friends with a Brazilian accent opened a small nice tropical restaurant. This small group felt a little cramped and decided to move out five years later, to nearly 300 square meters, at the bottom of a courtyard which welcomes also Le Gibus - in 2005, this establishment was opened in London. The atmosphere is more tropical than ever with plants everywhere. Bright colours ? If you want them, you go them. One enjoys Brazilian dishes on large tables, sitting on benches, listening to great music. You can also drink cocktails while nibbling tapas. La Favela has its own house DJs: Tchiky al Dente and Grindo da Parada who know how to make the people dance especially those who drink caipirinhas - that is to say everyone. It is crowded on weekdays, much more on weekends and it is always exciting with its great atmosphere.
