Friendly and family-run inn offering products from small Lusitanian and Gallic producers.
In Portugal you find yourself in tascas, sorts of friendly and family hostels. This is what inspired César, the creator of this wine bar, grocery and cellar. You will find products from small producers like Lusitanians and Gallic … in a very intimate dining room decor. Children have their “room” with games, Kapla, puzzles, books and simple dishes made for them. For adults, the chef comes back each day from the market with new ideas that he immediately puts into action. On the menu,Dentadas (appetisers), cheese platters, charcuterie, seafoods or vegetables to share or eat alone. Some dishes like kale cabbage soup and chorizo are generous. In the afternoon the sweety break doesn't skip the pasteis de nata de la Pastelaria Belem accompanied by tea, a real chocolate, or a fresh squeezed fruit juices on request. You can fill up good products at the grocery shop, including Bisaro ham , a race of Portuguese pig that you will find only in the north of the country, or a cheese called the serra da estrela (the mountain of stars), originate from the region of Beiras (as the Chef). It is a creamy cheese, with soft and creamy pasta.

En revanche même si les serveurs sont plutôt gentils et souriants, le service n’était pas tout à fait à la hauteur de la note.
Lieu bruyant et très mal ventilé.

Ambiance plutôt festive.
