THE CHAPEL OF NOTRE-DAME DE LA MEDAILLE MIRACULEUSE
Place of pilgrimage, the chapel enlarged in 1849 houses a statue of Saint Vincent de Paul in Paris
Inaugurated in 1815, the chapel of the Compagnie des Filles de la Charité is a place of pilgrimage. In 1830, Catherine Labouré, a novice, reported several apparitions, including those of Christ and the Virgin Mary. The latter asked her to have a miraculous medal struck, launched in 1832 during the cholera epidemic. Miracles, including cures, multiplied. As a result, the chapel became known as Notre-Dame-de-la-Médaille-Miraculeuse. Enlarged in 1849 and remodeled in 1930, it houses a statue of Saint Vincent-de-Paul containing his heart and the body of Saint Louise de Marillac.

メダイは沢山の大きさが販売されており、1つ買ってネックレスにして身に付けていますが、もっと買っておけば良かったと思うくらい素敵です。
