This bar-restaurant deserves its name if the manager systematically welcomes the woman's Gent by flying in his arms. Before retiring, you will find that the Baroudeur Patient enjoys a dream location: in front of Gare du Nord. Its large terrace and orange display attract the gaze of every traveller looking for a comfortable seat. Inside, wooden tables and benches will seduce you in a cosy atmosphere, especially with a delicious caïpirhina or a drink-free cocktail. You can enjoy traditional cuisine on site.

Un expresso à 2,80€ facturé 5€ car ils ne prennent pas la CB en dessous.
Contexte: j’ai annoncé être pressé et n’avoir que quelques minutes, l’établissement n’a pas hésité à me surfacturer.
Du vol.

We stumbled upon Au Baroudeur just outside the station and were absolutely thrilled with our meal. I ordered the frog legs, which were cooked to perfection—tender, garlicky, and loaded with fresh herbs. A true French delicacy done right. My wife had the foie gras, and it was rich, silky, and beautifully paired with toast and fig jam.
The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We loved the cozy outdoor seating, perfect for people-watching while enjoying our wine and warm baguette.
If you're arriving at Gare du Nord and looking for an authentic French meal without the tourist traps, this place is a must. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Paris!
