Visionary Swiss artist Sarah Montani presents an entirely new kind of exhibition, running simultaneously in over 30 renowned museums around the world. Made possible by augmented reality (AR), it allows visitors to discover her incredible sculptures, simply by using their smartphones and visiting the museums' websites for free. In France, the artist is taking the Louvre and Centre Pompidou by storm. Other museums include Cape Town's Zeit Museum of Contemporary Art and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. With this project, a surprising blend of the physical and digital art worlds, the artist aims to highlight the gender disparity in museums. Places where only 10% of the works exhibited are by women. Don't miss the online vernissage on November 11. And if you're interested in the place of women in art, don't miss the new Petit Futé guide"Voyage au féminin dans le monde"!
