Church with stained glass windows, paintings by Jules-Alexandre Duval-le-Camus, wooden pulpit...
After the death in 1560 of Saint-Clodoald (or Cloud, meaning "illustrious and fearsome"), grandson of Clovis and Saint-Clotilde, pilgrimages were organized around the hill of Saint-Cloud, where his burial site and relics were placed, a place of devotion that gave rise to the town and the present-day church. The Romanesque-Gothic nave and choir span three levels. It features 19th-century stained glass windows, paintings by Jules-Alexandre Duval-le-Camus, a wooden pulpit and an altar in white Carrara marble donated by Napoleon III.
