With a history going back almost 150 years, the Hôpital Franco-Britannique, founded by Sir Richard Wallace, is the result of the merger of two private, not-for-profit hospitals in Levallois-Perret. The 270-bed facility now belongs to the Fondation Cognacq-Jay. This is an institution recognized as being in the public interest and was created in 1916 by an entrepreneurial couple who founded the Parisian department store "La Samaritaine". With this integration since 2021, the hospital perpetuates and optimizes its medical care mission. It is a major player in social solidarity in the Paris region.
