This castle built in the middle of the 18th century offers a visit out of time in a modern city.

Built in the middle of the 18th century for the Marquis d'Argenson, this castle was designed by Jacques Hardouin-Mansart de Sagonne, architect to Louis XV. Its interior decoration is due to Nicolas Pineau and Guillaume Coustou. The square is worth a visit for its seven 30-meter high plane trees. In short, a visit out of time within the walls of a modern city. Since the 1990s, renovations have been carried out to restore the castle to its former glory.

Le lieu est superbe. Les représentations théâtrales en plein Air sont charmantes. Le hangar style "marché couvert Baltard" ne choque pas, ainsi que la statue sur le perron.
Un coup de peinture sur les portes fenêtres ne serait pas du luxe.
