The house now belongs to the Marianist brothers of the Sainte-Marie institution.
Built at the beginning of the 19th century, this house was owned by the Grande Armée officer Louis-Sauveur Chénier, brother of the poet André Chénier, who was guillotined during the Revolution. The house was then acquired by Jean-Charles Persil, minister of Louis-Philippe, who died there in 1870. It now belongs to the Marianist brothers of the Sainte-Marie institution.
