LA FERME DU CLOS D'ARTOIS

The Clos d'Artois Farm is the last place to produce the famous Renommée-la-Forêt peppermint. Fifty years ago, there were some producers in the village and its surroundings… The peppermint mint, a hybrid of green and black mints, has many therapeutic virtues: it relieves nausea, stomach aches and bad transport. It is also appreciated for his qualities taste in candy, infusion, sparkling drink. Here you can visit the production, discover the garden of scents and the dryer. The operation has 27 hectares, 10 of which are medicinal and aromatic plants: in addition to the famous mint, it crosses piloselle, lamier, livèche, lemon, sage or lethe.
