FRENCH GÂTINAIS REGIONAL NATURE PARK

This park, located between the forests of Rambouillet and Fontainebleau, extends over the departments of Essonne and Seine-et-Marne, encompassing eight communities of communes on 75.6 km2. You can admire the mills, castles, churches and chapels that dot the landscape. Sandstone plains, wetlands, sandy soils and forests form contrasting landscapes, interspersed locally with clearings, dry valleys or moors between La Ferté-Alais and Milly-la-Forêt.
