Restaurant with terrace realizing a gastronomic home cooking.
You will find this restaurant slightly below the city centre, and it is very easy to access. We offer you a gastronomy with products only made and cooked on site, and you can see it, and you can smell it. Because indeed, the taste buds are celebrating in this nice place, not very big, quickly filled and warm. On the evening of our visit, a Saturday evening last February, foie gras was in the spotlight, with a potato cake with fried slices in the centre, duck breast with foie gras (always) and other wonders. The other proposals of the nice menus (which change every week) were in line: monkfish terrine, pork cheek mitonnade, etc. The welcome is friendly, and the dynamic mistress of the place will quickly put you at ease. A restaurant of such value being rather rare on Etampes, we will only advise you to book as far in advance as possible. In summer, the terrace is ideal.
Entre 2 plats, le personnel se retrouve derrière le bar, face à la salle et papote en rigolant. Lorsque l'on se trouve en face, on se sent un peu mal à l'aise, un peu épié parfois.
La carte n'est pas très longue, mais la cuisine est généralement très bonne. Sauf pour les viandes grillées qui ont vraiment un petit goût de brûlé (même peu cuites). C'est dommage.
Nous n'y retournerons probablement pas.
