This popular festival, organized by the Communist Party and the newspaper L'Humanité, has been taking place for some years now in Brétigny-sur-Orge, Essonne, rather than in La Courneuve. You don't have to be a militant to attend this party, which is designed to bring in euros for the coffers of the famous daily newspaper founded by the socialist Jean Jaurès. For music fans, this festival is a godsend, with a wide variety of great concerts (rock, rap, world music, etc.). Admission is unbeatable, and the program is of the highest quality every year.
