The Conseil d'architecture, d'urbanisme et de l'environnement (Council for architecture, town planning and the environment) has a public service mission to promote the quality of the living environment, and provides free advice to private individuals. This advice concerns any project relating to a home (development, construction, extension or renovation). Whether your project involves knowing what materials to use, your rights and obligations with regard to the neighborhood, or a simple building permit, the CAUE is there to help. Simply make an appointment to meet an architect, free of charge.
