A flip-flop world championship? No, you are not dreaming, the event does exist in Gironde, in Hourtin. It's a unique event! This test is for two people. Thus, every year since 2003, about fifty teams divided into Junior (under 15 years old) and Senior categories, have been trying to break the record for flip-flop throwing. The principle is simple, or almost so: the first player throws the flip-flop with his foot, the second receives it without it reaching the ground. In 2015, the records for both categories were broken: 32.38 m and 39.56 m. For your information, the flip-flop must weigh a maximum of 225 grams and be size 36. Registration will be done directly on site. Good luck!
