Museum retracing the history of the town of Les Andelys from prehistoric times to industrial activities.

Housed in a former 18th-century bourgeois house, the Nicolas Poussin Museum traces the town’s history from prehistoric times to 20th-century industrial activity. The room devoted to Nicolas Poussin, a painter born in Les Andelys, displays the famous painting Le Coriolan supplié par sa mère, as well as numerous documents evoking the life and work of this fundamental artist of the 17th century. Guided tours, mosaic workshops and other events are organized on a regular basis.

Je m'étais déjà rendue au musée pour observer une exposition photo. J'y suis retournée aujourd'hui pour découvrir les oeuvres de Daniela Capaccioli : "le jardin habité". Une très belle découverte plein de féerie. À voir !
