Collegiate church dedicated to St. Louis, which today has the particularity of housing the Charitons museum in La Saussaye.
This ancient collegiate church dedicated to Saint Louis was built between 1307 and 1317 by Guillaume d'Harcourt, Lord of Elbeuf. It was rebuilt in the 16th and 19th centuries after several destructions - it suffered two successive fires in particular - and today has the particularity of housing the museum of the Charitons, these Catholic brotherhoods who were in charge of accompanying the dead, in a procession, to their final resting place. The tradition persists and there are still about a hundred of them in the Eure department.
