MARCHÉS À SAINT-CLAUDE
The large external market is held on Thursday, place du 9-April and Place du Pré, not far from the tourist office. It is difficult to park in Saint-Claude, where the whole Haut-Jura seems to have had an appointment! Once it is parked, it is pleasant to stroll in the aisle between the two rows of stalls, where food products are found from here and elsewhere. Those here have our preference and in particular the yaourts of the Marti de Cuttura farm: they are free of preservatives, preservatives and artificial flavours. Natural aromas are well placed, even pear! On Saturdays, it is in the cathedral area, in the covered hall of Grenette and outside, that the market is held. Fruits, vegetables, meat, honey and local cheeses… Ambiance and good meetings guaranteed!
