Grotto accessible on foot from Saint-Claude town center, stopover on a terrace, Hermitage lookout with beautiful views.
Fancy a stroll with an underground objective? The Grotte Sainte-Anne is accessible on foot from downtown Saint-Claude, starting from the tourist office. It takes 1h30 to cover the 4 km round-trip trail. Yellow markers indicate the way. Close to the grotto, a terrace and the remains of the former Hermitage chapel provide an ideal spot for a short stop. The Belvédère de l'Ermitage offers a view over the town.

Chemin impraticable car non entretenu (marches en bois cassées puis orties et morceaux de verre sur la sente de terre) qui nous a obligés à faire demi-tour... Désolant !

Superbe vue sur la ville de Saint-Claude. Depuis le centre ville suivre l itinéraire jaune. La montée est très forte mais une autre possiblite est est de passer par la rue Christin (se garer au niveau des dernières maisons ) et prendre le chemin de Bayardet (même si indiqué propriété privée ) pour retrouver ensuite le sentier venant du centre ville. Le dernier virage pour aller ensuite à la grotte est plus délicat à franchir.

Très joli point de vue. Une belle montée, avt de pouvoir en profiter avec la surprise de trouver une grotte qui rafraîchit bien une fois arrivée au-dessus.(ça grimpe pas mal, mais accessible à tous).

Il faut un peu de courage pour grimper mais une fois arrivé, vous en prendrez plein les yeux
