ROSAY CASTLE

Is that conceivable? A castle reconstructed by one man! And yet, in years (1980-1995), Marcel Duthion did so with his family. The dungeon remained in the dark, but almost everything else was uncovered and renewed. This carpenter, passionate by the manual technique of the elders, discovered in 1980 the great passion for his life: the old castle in ruins of Rosay's sir, built in the th century on the Roman road which became, under the Chalon, the path of salt. It notes the enclosure and the door of Salt, repairs the dungeon, the furniture to the old, but its greatest feat is the reconstruction of the vaulted hall 22 meters long by 4,70 meters wide and 5 meters high. Today, the castle hosts seminars and weddings. The hotel also offers a wide range of facilities.
