It is an excellent idea to set up a Comté cheese dairy in Poligny, at the southern roundabout, not far from the A39 motorway exit. It is a merger of the Tourmont/Saint-Lothain dairy, and each year it transforms 3 million litres of milk into Comté, thanks to its 8 members. It works in partnership with Monts & Terroirs. In the heart of the millstones you will find other dairy products: butter, cancoillotte, yoghurts, creams... And other Comtois delicacies in the shop.

Accueil non chaleureux. Nous demandons de goûter un carré de comté avant d’acheter. La vendeuse nous propose un morceau mais on en peut pas faire plus minuscule. Nous demandons de la raclette pour 2, nous souhaitons choisir plusieurs sortes, la vendeuse nous dit : « ça va être compliqué ». Idem pour couper la raclette en morceaux, c’est sans surprise, elle nous répond que c'est a nous de le faire. Lors du paiement à la caisse, pour près de 100€, cette même vendeuse nous a répondu « les sacs sont payants » de façon hautaine alors que je voulais un simple sac, aucun problème de le payer.
Nous n’avons pas encore goûté les produits qui sans doute seront très bons.. mais quand au service, vous aurez peut être un sourire dans une autre fruitière.
