A monastery founded in 1415, following the request of Margaret of Bavaria, which today houses about twenty Poor Clare sisters.
The Saint Clair Monastery was founded in 1415 in the Burgundian golden age by Saint Colette of Tricqueville. She receives the Duke Jean's building without fear himself. The primitive chapel of the building, which was demolished in the Revolution and rebuilt in the 1930 s, has just been renovated. Here you can see a beautiful th-century marble pietà and the superb socket of St. Colette, offered by an aunt from Louis XV to the city. The monastery still houses about clares sisters.
