PAYS DU REVERMONT

Poligny is the seat of the mixed union of the country of Revermont, which covers 2009 communes of the Poligny-Arbois-Saline triangle and has been part since of the French territories labelled "City and Country of art and history" by the Ministry of Culture. The Heritage Animation Service of the Country of Art and History designs Events and offers a calendar of thematic visits from Poligny, Arbois and Salins-les-Bains, and workshops for children, including cultural events. The Revermont, Country of Art and History has also set up two heritage itineraries, short walking walks marked with panels. One, in the village of Monnet, will lead you to meet its historical characters, vineyards and local geology. The other, in Oussières, will make you discover an exceptional historic oak.
