Vuillet Vega has specialized in high-end eyewear for five generations. Its eyeglass frames are all manufactured inside France and the four collections have received the Origine France Garantie certification. In addition, in 2011, this goldsmith eyewear manufacturer is the only one to have obtained the Entreprise du patrimoine vivant label.
History. Vuillet Vega has been located in the Morez valley, the eyewear capital, since 1843.
Its glasses are made of precious or semi-precious materials: mother-of-pearl, tortoise shell, stingray... Some tools, machines, models and documents dating from 1843 are still used by the company for the design and manufacture of prototype glasses. All assembly and crimping techniques are carried out entirely by hand. The company conducts ongoing technical research on materials and equipment. Vuillet Vega has received several awards for his work on aesthetics and ergonomics.
The products. Vuillet Vega offers four collections. Gérard Vuillet presents contemporary aesthetic codes, rare materials, the most advanced technologies and handmade customization for exceptional frames. The Prima Linéa offers shapes and colours to seduce those who want comfortable frames. The Prestige collection is more like jewellery with a comfortable and timeless frame. Finally, the Sign collection offers an original design to get off the beaten track.
