Museum housed in a cottage-cheese factory and retracing the history of the trades in the Hautes-Combes through old tools.

This museum, housed in a cottage-cheese factory, traces the history of the trades in the Hautes-Combes with old tools. A journey where life on the farm is evoked with the making of cheese and the combing of linen, as well as the "small trades" which completed the activity and some of which are still relevant today: stone cutting, jewellery, woodworking and in particular the "tavaillons" which insulate the walls... We also discover the technique of heating with peat.

Magasin avec des spécialités locales (fromages régionaux, charcuteries, miel, boissons : vin, bières, apéritifs…) et des articles fabriqués par des artisans locaux.

des produits locaux de qualité, vendeuses au top, qui a pris le temps de nous expliquer l'histoire de La fruitiere, et la difference entre les fromages! Vente de tout types de produits locaux, Fromages+ charcuterie, bières, vins, boissons régionales,... mais pas que!
